Stacey Bigelow - TSC, CSP President
As the President of The Advance Group, Stacey is a seasoned professional leading an organization prepared to help clients find, screen, and hire top talent.
Her philosophy is that she has two customers – candidates/employees and client companies. She believes that making Advance a great place to work results in outstanding service for her clients.
Stacey’s positive workplace culture includes training and advancement opportunities and exciting incentives for her team, and provides clients with innovative solutions to workforce challenges.
She is a Certified Staffing and Technical Services Professional active in several American Staffing Association committees and a board member of the Toledo Area Human Resources Association.
Stacey is passionate about both business and family, and as a wife and mom to 4 girls, leads a very busy life.
Andrea Niceley, CSP Branch Manager
Andrea started with Advance in 2014 as an Assistant Personnel Coordinator. Andrea quickly moved up to a Staffing Specialist, Senior Staffing Specialist and was recently promoted to Branch Manager in our Sylvania office. Andrea graduated with her bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Ohio Northern University. She started her career in the student housing industry where she gained valuable experience that made her transition into staffing very smooth. Andrea excels in coordinating and communicating with clients and employees. In her free time, Andrea enjoys playing and coaching volleyball as well as attending country music concerts with her husband and friends. Andrea is a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan! Her beloved golden retriever, Hayes Meyer, was named after two great OSU coaches. Andrea and her husband also welcomed twin boys in November 2017! The Niceley twins and Hayes definitely keep her busy when she is not working!
Brenda Frank, CSP Administrative Assistant
Brenda has been with Advance since 2007. She has held a variety of roles within our company, including Administrative Assistant and Staffing Specialist. She will be your first point of contact and greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome in our office. She will make it a priority to help you with any questions you may have.
Dan Haller, CSP Staffing Specialist
Dan has been with Advance since 2013 and specializes in forming relationships with employees and clients in order to provide the best match for both. His time at Habitat for Humanity working with a diverse group of volunteers helped him develop many of the skills needed to be successful in the staffing industry (and he finally gets to show people the money!). Dan is also a proud father who enjoys spending time with family and friends (and football and hockey).

Linda Roth, CSP Recruiting Operations Manager
Linda has been with The Advance Group since 2011, working as a Recruiter and Senior Branch Manager before moving into her current role as the Recruiting Operations Manager. In this role, Linda works closely with the teams in all three offices on development and best practices for recruiting. Her variety of work experience and degrees in Business Administration/Finance and Accounting from Lourdes University have allowed her to excel in the staffing industry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family attending sporting events, concerts, running, biking, golfing, and traveling.
Donna Fountain, CSP Staffing Specialist
Donna’s many years in the Downriver staffing industry makes her a key leader in our offices. She excels at working with local companies and finding tough-to-fill recruits for local leading manufacturing environments. Donna’s customer service skills make her one of the top recruiting agents in our industry. She prides herself on her work and building relationships with her clients, and helping our employees become successful. When Donna is not busy finding top-quality candidates, it’s all about her family and friends.
Mindy VanAcker, CSP Branch Manager
Mindy has a very enthusiastic and positive outlook on life. She is always willing to help out, from teaching others new things to brainstorming and troubleshooting. She is creative and always thinking outside the box. She is ambitious and loves a good challenge. Mindy started out as an Administrative Assistant and worked her way up to a Branch Manager. She thrives on building strong client relations, creating the close working relationships viable to growing strong business relationships. When not at work Mindy loves all things to do with cooking and baking, she finds peace in her garden or in a good book. She is very family oriented and enjoys all the time she can with her husband and two children.
Niki Schroeder, CSP Staffing Specialist
Niki brings with her a background in counseling and education where she helped students and clients train/prepare for the workforce and find employment opportunities. Niki has a Bachelors in Sociology/Criminal Justice and an MBA in Human Resource Management. She excels at organization and communication. Niki spends her free time with her family. She enjoys kickboxing, going to the beach, and watching the Cleveland Browns.

Renee Trombly, CSP Staffing Specialist
Prior to joining the Advance team, Renee’s work history included positions in supervision, training coordination, administration, merchandising, and purchasing. All of which have been applied in her current role as a Staffing Specialist. Her passion for helping others extends from her personal life into her professional life, where she helps place candidates in the job that is right for them, as well as helping clients find the perfect candidate for their company. When Renee’s not working, she loves to spend time with her daughter and husband, as well as her extended family. She enjoys traveling, especially cruising in the Caribbean along with spending her summers camping with family and friends.
Tyler Vanderhorst, CSP Branch Manager
Tyler has been with The Advance Group since December 2012 and since joining our team he has excelled in many different roles at our Monroe and Southgate offices. He has been recently promoted to Branch Manager in our Southgate office. Tyler believes in giving our employees the best opportunity to succeed and find a permanent placement with one of our clients. He finds that the most enjoyable part of working in staffing is giving people the opportunity to get back on their feet or help them down a new career path! When he is not at work, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family and doing charity work with the Miracle League of NW Ohio.
Patti Urbaniak, CSP Talent Scout Coordinator
Patti joined Advance as a member of the Corporate Office in 2015. She excelled at the daily processing and looked for opportunities to assist the Branch Teams. This eagerness to assist others and her extensive background as a manager in the restaurant industry made her the perfect candidate to join the Staffing team when the opportunity was available.
She utilizes her knowledge in customer service and desire to learn, grow, and help others. She is detail oriented and takes ownership of her job. She has the ability to troubleshoot and think outside the box, which ensures increased productivity for both our employees and clients. Patti likes to spend her free time at the lake with her family and dog. She also enjoys watching the Detroit Red Wings.
Tara Robinson, CSP Regional Business Development Manager
With a “gift of gab” and a knack for motivating people, it’s no wonder Tara finds herself in a dual role of Sales and Operations! She’s been with Advance since 2010 and has a decade of staffing industry experience and holds a bachelors degree from Ferris State University. As an active member of the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce, she is part of the Leadership Monroe class of 2015 and also serves on the board of the Greater Southeast Michigan Society of Human Resource Managers. Tara’s main focus has been working with clients to develop and implement strategic staffing solutions and has a passion for helping people become more successful. Her background in sales and marketing, as well as her creativity and strong desire to constantly reinvent and improve processes has led to some of our marketing campaigns, business models and standards of practice. When not working, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is a huge sports fan, especially football and often sports Detroit Lions and MSU gear. Her hobbies include singing, reading, scrapbooking and she has a guilty pleasure for marching bands!

Stephanie Staelgraeve, CSP Staffing Specialist
Prior to joining the Advance team, Stephanie’s work history includes insurance sales and health care administration where she gained valuable knowledge and customer service skills. With her experience in solving complex problems and helping others determine what is best for their needs has helped prepare her for success in the staffing industry. She has a passion for developing relationships with others and helping them succeed and improve their lives. Along with continuing her education outside of work, Stephanie enjoys camping with her boyfriend, kayaking, and spending time with her two cats and two dogs.
Ryann Francis, CSP Staffing Coordinator
Ryann is new to the staffing industry. Her roles in customer service is what made her a great fit for our Administrative assistant position. Also, her upbeat and friendly personality is what makes her a great first point of contact as she will greet you with a welcoming smile. Her willfulness to help and see others succeed is what will make your visit to Advance Staffing a great one every time. In Ryann’s free time she enjoys spending it with her loved ones and making crafts.
Crystal Howe Business Development
Crystal comes to us with an extensive background in Banking and Finance, as well as Direct Sales. She has a knack for meeting people which she gained from moving all around the world as her Dad served in the U.S. Navy. Crystal herself spent time in the U.S. Air Force where she gained extensive problem solving skills! She considers herself to be competitive and always up for a challenge! In her free time she enjoys being with her family, including her two beautiful daughters and beloved pets.
Molly Courtney Staffing Specialist
Molly joined the Advance team as a recent graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Molly prides herself on providing excellent customer service and helping clients solve their staffing problems. In her free time, Molly loves going on vacation, her favorite destination is Myrtle Beach. She also loves spending time with her three dogs.
Heather Fisher, PHR Human Resources Coordinator
Heather joined Advance in August 2014. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources and Patient and Protection and Affordable Care Act Professional. She has an extensive background in benefits and is the resident ACA expert. As Advance’s Human Resource Coordinator, Heather serves as the Wellness Coordinator and works with our employees to promote better health and wellbeing. She enjoys working with our employees and helping them to excel in their personal and professional development. Her true passion for life comes from her personal relationships with people. In her free time, she enjoys watching football with her husband and riding her motorcycle.
Alayna Starrett, CSP Business Development
Alayna joined the Advance team in early 2016. Her background in educational recruitment was excellent preparation for the staffing industry. She loved her time at the University of Cincinnati where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership. Clients appreciate her integrity and grace under pressure. Alayna enjoys arts and crafts and spending time outdoors. When not providing superior customer service, Alayna can be found spending time with her family and friends.
