Our team is comprised of co-workers, family, and friends of Lisa Greene. We decided to participate in the race last year after Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall of 2014. To our surprise, Lisa agreed (she never sought the spotlight) and she was looking forward to being involved because it was a chance to do something proactive with those closest to her. Sadly we lost Lisa in February of 2015 but decided to press on with the race (Lisa would never have let us quit anyway). As a testament to the lives she touched we won an award last year for the largest first-time team! So once again we’ll walk or run, laugh and cry and keep on fighting for those who can’t. Lisa wouldn’t have it any other way.
